Ford has replaced the Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with what they call the NGPI, which stands for Next Generation Police Interceptor. They designed it to accommodate much of the equipment that is used with the Crown Victoria, so I suspect many departments will keep the Ford so they don't have to buy new cages, light bars, and other accessories.

Chevy has also introduced a new Impala, so there is more competition than just the Dodge. The Hemi engine is the Dodge is better suited for highway pursuit, so I don't expect it to be popular in most cities. Are the police Ford crown victorias cars getting replaced with the Dodge charger?

Since ford stopped making Crown Victorias, all police stations will be switching over to other cars sometime in the future, for they can no longer get parts of the crown vics. Some stations are converting into Dodge Chargers, while others are using the Ford Fusion or the Chevy Cobalt. Are the police Ford crown victorias cars getting replaced with the Dodge charger?
